Originally a mixed farming property, Green Point is located in the centre of the historic Yarra Valley grape growing district that became known for its high quality wines in the latter half of the 19th century. Its east facing slopes and sandy clay loam soils are ideal for production of high quality wines. The vineyard area is 44 Ha and is planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Shiraz. This Green Point wine tasting will feature the following wines: Cabernet/Shiraz ’04, Reserve Chardonnay ’03, Chardonnay ’05, Pinot Noir Rosé ’07, Shiraz ’04, Shiraz Reserve ‘05 All appetizers are 1/2 price with the tasting. Enjoy live jazz by the Frank Potenza Trio from 7pm to 8:30pm, and free parking!
