| At my White-wine class, a few of my regular students reminded of this class I did during
my first year, back in 2006. It was an absolute blast!!! The class goes over the
basic styles of wines (sparkling, white, reds, and dessert) and then we pair them to
different types of foods, outlining the general 'rules' of food and wine pairings
together. Then I set you free. Your task (in your group) is to come up with a menu that pairs 4 wine styles with a buffet of food that I will have prepared. You will
present your team's menus to the group and it will be judged by yours truly. The winning
group gets an award. This is seriously sooo much fun! Grab your favorite wine-drinking
buds and sign on up! I want to have 20-25 students at this class to make sure it is full of energy!
You are guaranteed to learn how to understand some food and wine pairing rules you can apply to your own culinary dishes as well as have a fantastic time. Last class, I was in tears from laughing so hard...some of the pairings were really creative :-))) (eh, um, Team Heather-Nicolle-Matt).
